TORONTO, Ont.–The Supply Chain Management Association has announced the Fifth Annual Student Case Competition which will take place on Saturday, February 20, 2016. The competition will be held at two host campuses: the Haskayne School of Business, University of Calgary in Calgary for the Western region and the De Groote School of Business, McMaster University, Hamilton for the Eastern region.
The competition provides a business case written specifically for the SCMA Student Case Competition. The case will focus on resolving real-world strategic and tactical challenges through the examination of topics such as logistics, network design, procurement, relationship management and sustainability.
The competition will bring together students from across the country where teams of four undergraduate students will compete in a business case with presentations to judges’ panels consisting of business professionals, academics and corporate sponsors, said SCMA.
