Ryder to sponsor automotive logistics global conference

MIAMI, Fla.–Ryder System, Inc. said it will be the premier sponsor of the 16th annual Automotive Logistics Global Conference, which will be held September 22-24, 2015, at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center in Detroit, Mich.

Ryder Director of Customer Logistics, Frank Bateman, and Ryder Senior Director of Supply Chain Excellence, Tom Kroswek, will both present at the conference.

Bateman will participate in a panel session titled “Outside of the USA/Look Over the Borders,” in which he will discuss growth areas and opportunities outside of the U.S. Mr. Kroswek will be a part of a panel titled “Measure, Analyze, Plan, Implement, Succeed,” where he will speak about the importance of intelligently using big data to pave the road to success. Both sessions will be held on Wednesday, September 23.

Ryder has been the premier sponsor of the Automotive Logistics Global Conference since its inception in 2000, the company said.
