TORONTO, Ont.–A new wave of supply chain talent is joining industry’s elite, said CITT, which announced that starting May 28th in Toronto and continuing through June, CITT will be recognizing the professionals who have earned their CCLP (CITT-Certified Logistics Professional) designation with evenings of celebration and networking open to the entire supply chain logistics community.
The nine events bring together professional logistics experts from across the country, including both carriers and shippers representing a large variety of sectors and verticals. “The CCLP Certification Celebrations are great events for both the CITT community and industry as a whole. They put the spotlight on the many hours of course work, practical experience, and dedication to excellence of the professionals who become CCLPs” said Catherine Viglas, President of CITT. “It’s also a perfect opportunity to network with logistics experts, whether you’re looking for conversation on a hot-button topic or potential new business partners from across industry. If you want a chance to talk shop with some of the brightest minds in the profession—both up-and-coming and senior—you won’t want to miss your local celebration.”2015’s new CCLPs will also be the first year of newly certified professionals to be added to CITT’s recently launched List of Current CCLPs (www.citt.ca/CCLPs), a comprehensive listing of professionals who have both earned AND continue to maintain their CCLP designation.
“With both industry and HR people paying so much attention to The List since its debut, these are going to be special nights for those who finally get to see themselves named amongst elite” Viglas observed.
Reflecting the seniority of the attendees, the celebrations will also honour professionals reaching impressive career milestones, such as those who have held their CCLP designation for 25 and 40 years.
