MISSISSAUGA, Ont.–On July 21 the Toronto Area Council (TAC) of the CITT held their 6th annual Golf Tournament at Braeben Golf Course in Mississauga.
“For the second year running this event had over 90 golfers and were able to donate $5000 to the Threads of Life Charity,” said Tom Pauls, CCLP, Chair of the CITT Toronto Area Council.
Threads of Life are the Association for Workplace Tragedy Family Support-a National Registered Canadian Charity dedicated to supporting families after a workplace fatality, life altering injury or occupational disease.
“The golf tournament also supports the CITT TAC bursary fund which in its fourth year offers financial support for CITT courses for those individuals who are not supported by an employer,” Pauls continued.
“I’d like to thank all the sponsors who continue to support this every year and especially thank you to the participants.”
