Bob Mihok named President, North America, Kuehne + Nagel

JERSEY CITY, N.J.– Kuehne + Nagel has appointed Bob Mihok as President of its North American region, effective April 1, 2016. He succeeds John Hextall, who is stepping down at his own request, and who will remain with the company until June 30, 2016 to ensure a smooth transition, the company said.

Mihok will be responsible for the company’s Seafreight, Airfreight, Overland, Contract Logistics, and Integrated Logistics operations in the North American Region comprising the United States, Canada and Mexico. He will work from the regional headquarters in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Mihok began his career with Kuehne + Nagel in Basel, Switzerland in 1982. After assuming tasks in the United States and Italy for several years, in 1995, he was appointed Deputy Head of Seafreight of Kuehne + Nagel Asia Pacific. In 1998, Mihok took over as National Manager of Kuehne + Nagel Indonesia, and in 2001, he became the Regional CEO of the company’s South American organization. Since April 2008, Mihok led the company’s Eastern Europe organization.
