EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ–Global trade management (GTM) provider Amber Roadannounced that its proprietary process for collecting, translating, interpreting and updating country-specific trade regulations has achieved ISO 9001:2008 recertification.
Amber Road commercialized trade content under the trade nameGlobal Knowledge. In 2014, Global Knowledge was updated with over 13 million new records, with trade content sourced from government agencies in over 145 countries. Global Knowledge provides the intelligence to power Amber Road’s GTM solutions, the company said.
TheISO 9001:2008is an internationally recognized set of standards for quality management systems developed and published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Both the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB) in the United States and the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) independently verified Amber Road’s ISO 9001:2008 compliance.
“Achieving ISO 9001:2008 recertification demonstrates that what we say we do is what we do,” said Anthony Hardenburgh, vice president of global trade content, Amber Road. “We take our content and quality processes seriously.”
Amber Road’s Global Knowledge Update Process was originally awarded the ISO 9001:2008 standard certification for its quality management system in July 2012, the company said.
