Air Canada announces shipping requirements for DEL and DXB

MONTREAL, Que.–With the start of its year-round service to Delhi and Dubai on November 1, Air Canada Cargo is asking customers to take note of the following requirements for all shipments destined for, or transiting through, both Delhi (DEL) and/or Dubai (DXB).


All shipments to both DEL and DXB are required to have a complete and accurate house air waybill (HAWB) prior to the shipment’s departure.

HS or HCC As mandated by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Customs Authority, all shipments destinated for, or transiting through, the UAE must contain the harmonized system code (HS) or harmonized commodity code (HCC).

Air Canada Cargo cannot send any shipments to these destinations without the completed, required documentation, the company advised.
