CILTNA set for annual Transportation Situation and Outlook Conference

MONTREAL, Que. – The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in North America (CILTNA) will be holding its 13th annual Transportation Situation and Outlook Conference in Montreal this April 8th.

The conference will include addresses from Pierre Cieroux, vice president research & chief economist, Business Development Bank of Canada; John Parisella, executive director Campus Montreal; and Francoise Bertrand, president, Federation des Chambres de Commerce du Quebec.

The conference, which attracts shippers, carriers, government officials, consultants and academics, will also include several panels.

Two morning panels, both moderated by Transportation Media editorial director Lou Smyrlis, will examine Canada’s and the continent’s energy policy and emerging issues and considerations with an emphasis on transportation, and the latest trends and issues in marine, rail and pipeline transport.

Afternoon panel sessions take a further look at modal issues and legal issues.
