TORONTO, Ont.– Farrow has announced a new partnership with InPost and Delivery Net to expand the delivery options available to customers using a national parcel locker network solution.
Under terms of the partnership, Farrow will be able to offer expanded pickup and returns to end users with InPost’s national parcel locker solution. Customers will enjoy the benefits of Automated Parcel Locker Solution such as 24/7 availability, simple pickups, improved transit times, full security, and customized brand messaging, “ensuring problem free shipments and stability within supply chains for retailers,” said the announcement.
“This agreement allows us to offer expanded service options to our customers, and is important for our Farrow Logistics operations across Canada during these uncertain times.” said Randy Motley, President of Farrow. “Parcel lockers are already a proven delivery alternative in Canada and extremely popular in other parts of the world which is why we’re thrilled to bring it to retailers and their customers across Canada.”
There are over 1000 locker locations planned for Canada by the end of 2017 and 200 locations in operations across the Greater Toronto Area. These locations are under site agreements with major retailers such as 7-Eleven, Loblaw, Petro Canada, and the Toronto Parking Authority. InPost Parcel Locker’s self-serve pick up/return process takes under 10 seconds to complete.
“Multiple shipping options are expected by today’s consumers and result in higher sales for online retailers. Over 17 thousand retailers globally use InPost Parcel Lockers to increase basket size and decrease cart abandonment” says InPost Canada CEO Tony Jasinski. “We are delighted to be partnering with Farrow and Delivery Net to offer our service to more Canadians.”
InPost’s “Click and Collect” method of having a parcel delivered accounts for roughly 20% of all B2C shipments in Europe.
