COPENHAGEN, Den.– Globe Tracker International (GTI), a firm specializing in global trade data sharing, autonomous asset tracking and monitoring and related data analytics, announced today its partnership with Refrigerated Transport Electronics (RTE), a developer and manufacturer of innovative monitoring products for the intermodal refrigerated container industry.

The company’s joint solution aims to deliver seamless, integrated, wireless tracking monitoring and remote management of refrigerated containers for global intermodal transportation. Technology will alert cold chain stakeholders in near real time throughout the shipping cycle (over the road, over the rail, within terminals, and aboard container ships) of critical temperature and operational cargo conditions. Historic and real time data is presented and monitored via the Globe Tracker web interface platform called SAAN — Smart Autonomous Asset Network.

“We are pleased to be working with Globe Tracker International to develop solutions for the transportation industry. Combined with RTE’s family of innovative GRASP Remote Reefer Monitoring systems, this new technology enhances the complete visibility throughout the cold chain,” says, Donald Vinson, President of RTE.

“The combination of RTE’s proven technology and our groundbreaking Smart Autonomous Asset Solution brings to our customers over-the-air two-way management of reefers along with un- matched capabilities of continuous tracking of these high value assets globally,” said Jim Davis, Globe Tracker Founder and CEO.
