WINNIPEG, Man.–Frontier Supply Chain Solutions Inc. (Frontier) has launched a new evening delivery service in Canada.
The new service, called After 5PM Delivery, will allow Frontier customers the ability to schedule the shipment of packages between the hours of 5:00pm and 9:00pm across Canada.
The solution was created to help Canadian and U.S. businesses increase their customer loyalty by reducing the number of unsuccessful or delayed deliveries, the company said.
With 3 in 4 Canadians now shopping online, Frontier’s After 5PM Delivery service aims to benefit business-to-consumer and e-commerce companies whose customers include working professionals and families who are unable to be at home during the day to accept shipments.
“This service allows packages to be delivered directly to the recipient on time in one attempt,” said Michael Butterfield, President and CEO of Frontier. “Consumers want convenience. By not having to wait at home for a shipment or being worried it will be left on your doorstep all day while you are at work allows for peace of mind, which is important to us and our clients.”
Customers can also track their evening delivery shipments from the moment an order is placed, as well as receive live updates and automatic notifications on estimated delivery times and customs status via Frontier’s website.
Frontier is currently providing its evening delivery service in all major centers across Canada, said the release.
