SANTA MARIA, Calif. -- Old Dominion Freight Line has opened a new service centre in Santa Maria, Calif. The 20-door facility is located near US Route 101 at 1415 La Brea Avenue.

“By being in the heart of the market, we can offer earlier deliveries and better respond to customers,” said Jeff Langan, terminal manager. “The new location will strengthen Old Dominion’s promise of providing the best possible service to all our customers.”

The Santa Maria Service Center’s coverage area includes Santa Maria, Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo, Solvang, Buellton, Pismo Beach, Lompoc, Santa Margarita, Orcutt, Ballard and Los Osos.

Old Dominion officials say the new facility is strategically located closer to many customers located along Route 101, an important coastal north-south link for the entire Pacific coast. Old Dominion currently operates 14 other service centres in California.
