BILLINGS, Mont. -- Old Dominion Freight Line has moved to a larger, state-of-the-art facility Billings, Mont. With more than twice the number of doors as the previous location, the 62-door Billings Service Center is located at 1030 Intermountain Street in Billings and boasts more than 60 employees.

Old Dominion officials say Billings is an important location for the company, due to its proximity to Interstate 90 and Interstate 94, which both serve as major east-west connectors of freight for the northern part of the US. In addition to its thriving construction, mining, oil and natural gas industries, Billings is also the largest metropolitan area within a 500-mile radius.

“After five years in Billings, our customer base has grown significantly,” said Kevin Brandt, terminal manager. “We are thrilled this larger facility affords us more growth opportunities and look forward to providing our customers with the outstanding service they have come to expect from Old Dominion.”

The terminal’s coverage area includes seven Montana cities (Billings, Hardin, Roundup, Harlowton, Big Timber, Red Lodge and Columbus) and six Wyoming cities (Cody, Powell, Thermopolis, Worland, Buffalo and Sheridan).
