JumpTech announces pair of new hires to sales team

EAGAN, Minn. -- JumpTech has announced a pair of new sales hires for its Jump Technologies and JumpTrack business units. Joel Jorgenson has been named senior vice-president of fleet subscription sales for Jump Technologies, while Nicole Miller has been name regional sales director for JumpTrack. 

Jorgenson will be responsible for all aspects of sales efforts for the JumpTrack proof-of-delivery (POD) software solution. JumpTrack, a cloud-based application, provides the ability to track returns and POD.

Jorgenson, who worked previously with XATA Corporation (now XRS Corp), is a seasoned sales executive with extension experience overseeing industry sales teams, according to JumpTech officials. Sales grew from just under $1 million to $68 million during his tenure at XRS Corp.

Jorgenson’s past sales efforts include management of the sales team, external resellers, strategic partnerships and directly selling enterprise level deals to large organizations. He has more than 20 years of experience selling wireless and GPS based mobile software solutions to the transportation and trucking industry.

"As I looked at the industry, I found JumpTech to be uniquely positioned to lead the trend in cloud based smart phone and tablet solutions for proof-of-delivery and inventory management. I am excited to be able to play a role in continued rapid growth of this company," Jorgenson said.

New JumpTrack hire Miller is another former employee of XRS Corporation, where she focused on customer retention and increasing sales. During her tenure at XRS, Miller exceeded sales goals each year by 120% or more, while boasting a 99% customer retention rate, according to company officials.

“I am excited to be a part of the JumpTech family,” Miller said. “As I have been in the transportation space for many years, I realized the need for a strong POD company to help compliment my existing knowledge. JumpTrack is a fast paced growing product that will help serve many different market verticals.”
