The International Transport Forum at the OECD has announced the date and theme of its annual summit, which features Ministers of Transport from the 54 ITF member countries and from invited guest countries.
The summit takes place May 21-23, 2014 in Leipzig, Germany. The theme of the 2014 Summit is Transport for a Changing World, Understanding Trends – Shaping Responses.
Together with senior leaders from industry, heads of international organizations, top researchers and representatives from civil society, ministers will examine the megatrends which are shaping the 21st century and directly impacting transport: exploding urbanisation, technological revolutions and shifting global economic balance among others, said the ITF in a release.
