CP's Michael Redeker elected to Railinc Board

CARY, NC-- Michael Redeker, vice president and chief information officer of Canadian Pacific (CP), was recently elected to Railinc Corp.’s board of directors. Railinc provides IT and technology solutions for the rail industry.

“To have someone with Mike’s credentials on our board is very exciting,” said Allen West, Railinc president and CEO. “He brings the vision and IT experience we value as Railinc continuously improves its service to the freight rail industry.”

 “Railinc is an integral part of the rail industry,” said Redeker. “I am pleased to join its board and look forward to helping shape its future success.”

Redeker joined CP in October 2012 to help set the company’s future IT roadmap. He is focused on improving asset utilization, market growth, shipment management and employee productivity. 

Prior to joining CP, Redeker served as chief information officer at ATB Financial, where he completed an end-to-end technology upgrade and replacement program. He also spent 11 years at IBM Canada, where he focused on delivering IT services within the financial services industry.
