TORONTO, Ont.--On Friday, March 7, UPS Canada‘s Women’s Leadership Development (WLD) committee will host an event to celebrate ‘The Future of Women in Logistics’ – a segment that is currently underrepresented in the industry.

Dynamic and inspirational panellists from across North America will participate in a panel discussion, led by Canadian Shipper Associate Editor Julia Kuzeljevich.

Rooted in this year’s International Women’s Day theme of Inspiring Change, this event is a chance to bring leaders and future leaders to discuss the logistics industry and the strides women have made in the world. One topic of discussion is the growing Canadian labour shortage in supply chain management and logistics.

Panelists include Romaine Seguin, president, UPS Americas, Hon. Kellie Leitch, Minister of Labour and Minister of the Status of Women, Joy Nott, president, IE Canada, Debra Dinger, trade and compliance manager supply chain, Ericsson, and Julia Kuzeljevich, associate editor, Canadian Shipper (moderator).

Follow @UPS_Canada and hashtag #WomenInLogistics to join the conversation.
